Romantic French Countryside Editorial

The beauty of editorial shoots is bringing together a creative team to bring a vision to reality. This romantic French countryside editorial had a dream team of vendors who brought the french aesthetic to the Lowcountry.

French Countryside Editorial

Our inspiration for this editorial was the French countryside. We wanted to focus on textures and a muted color palette to let the other elements shine. We mixed velvet linens with soft billowing runners to create a romantic look and movement. Adding another touch of color with gold flatware and the textured ceramics completed the table design.

Texture was also the focus of the bridal gown. The lace detail on the tulle was so stunning, paired with a classic updo. Her pearl chandelier earrings were the perfect addition and really tied together the look. We later added a delicate floral crown for a bit more variety.

Our florals, designed in-house, also focused primarily on texture. We loved how the blooming branches added a perfect touch of whimsy and movement. We love a garden-style bouquet. For our color palette for florals, we kept things romantic with soft pinks and a hint of maroon. We really loved how the maroon brought out the moody details of the venue.

Emily Lethco documented the day beautifully, and we were so thrilled to work with her. Her attention to detail was so dreamy, and we loved how she was able to add movement to the images. We had the best time looking back through the gallery to remind us how special this day was.

Magnolia Gardens

The Conservatory at Magnolia Gardens offered the perfect indoor-to-outdoor location. It’s the ideal option for those who want both an indoor and outdoor venue space for their wedding day. The gardens have the most beautiful little pockets of green and blooms throughout the spring and summer wedding season.
